General Information
Austin Heights is surrounded with prize-winning gardens, has plenty of off street parking, private entrance to your Units which have all the comforts of home. Doors opening directly out onto a balcony.
Lynne and John welcome you to Austin Heights your experienced Kiwi hosts who have 7 years in the accommodation business. We look forward to meeting you and we are sure you will leave as friends.
Imagine staying in Luxury suite with stunning views of the Pacific ocean and snow capped mountains. Units have large sliding doors opening directly out onto a balcony where you can sit with a glass of local wine and enjoy the stunning view after your fun packed day on one of many attractions available in Kaikoura.
Each unit is fitted out with quality bedding and furniture, kitchenette is fitted with microwave and fridge, cutlery, toaster etc, tea & coffee facilities and has your own dining suite.
Lounge area has flat screen TV, sky / digital, DVD and movies, stereo, comfortable sofa and a good collection of local books to read.
Ensuite bathrooms have hairdryers, bathrobes, toiletries, shampoos & conditioner.
Austin Heights is located on a prime site on the Kaikoura Peninsula. We have magnificent views of the Kaikoura Seaward Ranges, capped with snow most of the year and only minutes drive from Whalewatch, Dolphin encounter, seal colony, town centre and local winery.
We advise our guests to stay a minimum of 2 days to see and do all Kaikoura has to offer.
We welcome you to enjoy our gardens. In season, Austin Heights glows with colour. If you have time out from your Whale Watching, Wine Tasting or many of the other Kaikoura Activities, take a stroll around our prize-winning gardens.
Our Guests always compliment us on our warm welcome, friendly hospitality and homely atmosphere.
All rooms have double glazing and are sunny and warm with good heating provided and the most comfortable beds so our guests keep on telling us.
We serve a generous breakfast in our living area at a suitable time for you, of fresh or stewed fruit, cereals, yogurts, fruit juice, croissants & toast etc.
A cooked menu is available to those who want it at a small extra fee.
For those who like to eat in the privacy of there own room that can be arranged to suit.
Austin heights provides plenty of private off street parking and we will have a Luxury Hot Spa for our guests to relax and enjoy this season.

Location Description
Austin Heights is easily found.
Travelling south drive up Churchill st past the turn off to the main centre to the top of the hill and turn left into Scarborough St, drive past the cementry and keep going until you get to Austin St the second turn left.
From the South side heading North drive past the race coarse on your right coming into Kaikoura and turn right into Scarborough st at the top of the hill. We are thr second turn on the right. Good luck
