Advantages of Holiday Homes
With holiday home accommodation you get a home away from home and we all know how true the old saying is - "There's no place like home".
You can enjoy your own privacy without intrusions from other guests or staff.
There is plenty of space for you, the kids, the car and in some houses you can even bring the dog along too.
All our Hanmer Holiday Homes are self contained so you only need bring your sheets, pillowcases, towels, food & beverages and personal hygiene products. You can also hire linen and towels from Hanmer Holiday Homes if required.
Most homes have everything you would find in your own home or even more! Log fires (wood is provided), gas fires, DVD players, Satellite TV, Playstations, dishwashers, and all sorts of other mod cons - browse the lists and see what is inside each home.
You can make your accommodation even more affordable by grouping with other families or individuals (we have an age limit of 20 years for groups of individuals).
Hanmer Holiday Homes are made affordable by asking the tenants to clean the home prior to their departure so that it is ready for the next tenant. If you don't feel like cleaning on your holiday then you can request for a cleaning service to be provided.

Operating since 2001, Hanmer Holiday Homes is a small, friendly, owner operated company run by Karryn & Jason Fletcher who took over ownership of the company in September 2004.
Our mission statement is:

Location Description
Hanmer Springs is a lovely small village with all the facilities, set in an alpine environment on the edge of the Southern Alps. The geothermal nature of the area (and truckloads of money), have provided the beautiful Thermal Springs Reserve in which to relax. (See www.hotfun.co.nz)
The village is located at an altitude of approximately 400 metres (1300 feet). This provides a crisp clear climate, with snow falling on several occasions. The combination of the colder climate and the hot pools (normally 25°-42°C or 77°-108°F) is both invigorating and relaxing. The really lucky ones get to soak in the hot pools when it is snowing (for which there is no extra charge).
