General Information
We specialise in helping plan your adventure to Nelson, New Zealand. Life is an adventure and we offer targeted experiences of all kinds; from culinary, artistic and musical adventures through to guided walks, hikes, sea kayaking or mountain biking.
Nelson is the gateway to the Abel Tasman National Park, Marlborough Sounds, Nelson Lakes National Park, Golden Bay and the West Coast; there is so much to do! We have an adventure to suit you!
Stu is a trained outdoor eduction teacher and instructed at Outward Bound. He is a competent tramping guide, sea kayak instructor, mountain biker and outdoors enthusiast with NZ mountain safety qualifications. As a trained teacher he is skilled at coping with individual levels of expertise. Stu is an avid gardener; has a huge vege garden and is keen to share his knowledge of organic growing.
Linda is also a trained teacher. She has taught art and has many contacts in the art world that can be accessed for personalised art and music adventures. She has found people staying are often interested in NZ cuisine, and is open to sharing secrets of cooking NZ delicacies. Her New Zealand pavlova is delicious, and easy to learn how to make.
In fact...all adventures come with food! Both Stu and Linda enjoy sharing the produce of the region, and feel that any decent adventure should have a gourmet aspect to it!
Your organic accommodation includes continental or cooked breakfast at your leisure; Stu’s fresh bread is legendary!
Stay three nights or more and a complementary fishing trip is yours! Join us on the harbour in our 5.6 metre Lazercraft, catch a fish and return home to learn how to smoke or fillet and cook it (scalloping in season).
