General Information
The Peppertree of Blenheim, New Zealand, takes its name from the grove of Pepper Trees (Schinus molle) which line the drive leading to the gracious Edwardian Villa. Built in 1901 from native timbers, The Peppertree luxury bed and breakfast is located in 10 acres of lush farmland and surrounded by an extensive country garden, a boutique vineyard and olive grove. The timeless feel of this beautiful hotel accommodation flows through into each of the five guests suites, where the ambiance of an open fire prevails. Blenheim winters are cosy at The Peppertree as the warmth of central heating pervades our luxury bed and breakfast accommodation.
Stroll around the lovely garden planted with New Zealand native trees and soak up the birdsong, fresh air and relaxing atmosphere. William Morris Suite
The charm of yesteryear is evoked as you enter this large gracious room with king size bed, ornate fireplace and antique furniture. The doors open out on to a private verandah, courtyard and garden. Dormer Suite
Up a short flight of stairs, is a charmingly romantic suite of rooms with a magnificent white queen size bed, prettily draped in white muslin. A balcony overlooks the courtyard and attractive garden. Sunset Suite
This pretty room with a queen size bed has French doors leading to a private courtyard/garden. Here, the songs of bellbird, fantails and other New Zealand native birds greet you in the morning.
