General Information
Glenfalloch is located in the headwaters of the Rakaia River on a High Country Station two hours drive west of Christchurch. The Cookshop is overlooking the Rakaia and the Mathias River and is surrounded by snowcovered mountains and glaciers.
The orginal cookshop has been renovated to a five bedroom accommodation with three independent bathrooms and a large open dining/living area with a wide open fire place. It is a place where you want to catch up with family and friends to relax or enjoy outdoor activities together. Guests have easy access to the back country for walks, the station's 4WD tracks, fishing and mountain biking. From July to October Methven Heliskiing operates from the Glenfalloch Helipad.
