General Information
The Views is an architecturally designed hilltop home situated on 11 acres of farmland with stunning 360 degree views of the surrounding lakes, mountain and native bush. Our home offers indoor and outdoor living with decks, a courtyard and the option of a secluded spa under the stars. You can take walks on the farm - you may even choose to get up close and personal with our pet sheep! Accommodation is located in the guest wing of our home which consists of a private queensize bedroom, adjoining lounge and private bathroom. You can enjoy complete privacy or the opportunity to mix with your hosts.
Located in a separate guest wing, your suite offers peace and privacy. The adjoining lounge is a place to relax and unwind with a coffee and homemade biscuits. You have your own private bathroom with a selection of quality New Zealand toiletries.
Wake up refreshed to peace and tranquility, with only birdsong to break the silence.
Breakfast:
I enjoy the art of creating good food and breakfast is a sumptuous affair. Either a simple continental with freshly squeezed fruit juice, homemade muesli and great coffee, or if I could tempt you towards something more substantial - try the hot croissants from the oven, served with homemade preserves, or the Eggs Benedict - Kiwi style.
Dinner:
There are two quality restaurants just 10 minutes away - Solitaire Lodge (by arrangement) and "The Landing". Dinner at "The Views" is available by special prior arrangement.
Your Hosts:
Mandy, a Rotorua born New Zealander, has travelled extensively. She has spent time living in Africa and Germany. She returned to New Zealand to settle at Lake Tarawera where, along with her German husband, created "The Views".
Mandy and her 17 year old daughter, Diana live on this beautiful 11 acre property. "I enjoy hosting guests from around the world and sharing my local knowledge of this unique area" says Mandy.

Location Description
The Views is located at 552 Spencer Road, Lake Tarawera, a twenty minute scenic drive from Rotorua.
Leave Rotorua on route 30, continue through the first set of traffic lights along Te Ngae Road. Turn right at the roundabout into Tarawera Road. Carry on as this becomes Spencer Road after approx 10 kilometers. "The Views" is located on the left side - 552 Spencer Road.
