At Kauri point you will be spoilt from the moment you arrive. Gail & Robert will look after you with our casual yet professional style. Our secluded property is nestled amongs 6 acres of established park like gardens. You will only be disturbed by the birdsong. After a day visiting the many attractions Taupo has to offer, or even going further afield to the Hawkes Bay wine area, Rotorua, Tongariro National Park, Waitomo Caves or Hamilton (all within 2 hours) you will be welcomed home with afternoon tea, pre dinner drinks and canapes. All of our rooms have en suite facilite, superking or twin beds,decks and are luxuriously appointed. Relax in the spa and listen to the bird song or at night sit and stare at the spectacular night sky; enjoy a day on the lake in our boat KiwiKiwi, a picnic on the beach,catch a fish or just relax the choices are endless.

Stay for three nights or more and we will take you out in our boat KiwiKiwi for a sightseeing trip onto Lake Taupo. See the Maori Carvings, catch a trout, have a picnic or BBQ on a remote beach and swim in the clear fresh water lake. Of course this is weather permitting.
Location Description
Kauri Point is situated about 7 minutes from the lake front in Taupo. From the lake front take the State Highway 5 towards Napier. After 5.7 km turn right into Caroline Drive. A further 2 kms turn left into Mark Wynd. Kauri Point is number 4, right at the end. Welcome you have arrived!
