Situated just two kilometres from Havelock North village in the heart of the wine country, Falkirk Farm provides boutique accommodation in Hawkes Bay, a region known for its wineries, relaxing lifestyle and far-reaching, varying coastline. Although only a two minute drive from Havelock North village, the semi-rural outlook of Falkirk Farm offers guests a relaxing and serene setting within close proximity to many of the Hawke's Bay attractions.
Falkirk Farm offers Falkirk Cottage, built in a 1920's style featuring roughcast plaster finish and clay tile roof. Falkirk Cottage is an idyllic retreat for holidays, and also an ideal venue for sales and directors meetings.
Falkirk is an ideal base from which to explore the attractions of Hawkes Bay - Havelock North, Hastings, Napier, and Taradale are all within easy driving distance, as are Ocean and Waimarama beaches, the gannets of Cape Kidnappers, plus a wide array of Hawkes Bay vineyards and wineries.
Positioned on twenty-five acres, the surrounding land attracts many species of native birdlife, and you also will often sight the resident pukeko, highland cattle and clydesdale horses. The character and charm of Falkirk cottage has been achieved by paying particular attention to detail and in the careful sourcing of furnishings.
Upstairs, both bedrooms are furnished with super kingsize beds, and use 100% cotton sheets. Each has their own TV, ensuite featuring clawfoot bath, shower and toilet.
