General Information
The Lodge is set in 10 acres of landscaped gardens, kiwi fruit and Avocado orchards, close to beaches, cafes, restaurants and wineries, golf, bush walks, the 'Best Small Town in New Zealand' of Katikati with unique history and wonderful climate. We love it here ~ so will you!
Feel free to roam and explore the grounds and gardens which are home to an abundance of flora & fauna. Late afternoon is a magical time in the Kiwifruit & Avocado orchards, listening to the bird song with the sun setting over the 'Kaimai's is enchanting... you can wonder through on your own or we can give you a tour.
The Gardens are home to some fine specimens of native trees and shrubbery, you'll find lots of secluded areas to relax in, take in the fresh sea air or read a book. Our freshwater ponds display an exotic array of tropical water lilies.
Take a cooling dip in the Pool
Enjoy our relaxed hospitality either in the lounge with wide screen TV and growing DVD library or by the pool with a glass of homemade iced lemonade! If the weather doesn't allow for 'al fresco' breakfasting, don't worry you will not miss out on the view the dinning room also overlooks the Bay!
The Regency Suite
A Spacious room, with King/Twin Bed and lounging area, French doors that open to the pool and terrace, large private bath and shower room, antique furniture, TV & CD, refrigerator, etc.!
Enjoy Breakfast in your suite or in the dining room / or terrace.
The Boys
Whilst strolling around the gardens & grounds you will come across 'Our Boys'....the Alpaca's ... they are wonderful friendly animals, originally from South America, they love visitors, especially those who feed them treats!!
Surrounding Area
The local town of Katikati (3 times winner of New Zealand's 'Best Small Town' award) offers some excellent cafe's. restaurants and wineries. Local activities & attractions include: Thermal hot pools, 3 Golf courses, Heritage Museum, Dolphin & whale safaris, boating & fishing, bush walking, horse riding, bird gardens, Matakana Island, fabulous beaches etc. etc.

Location Description
Located at the norther end of the Bay of Plenty, bordering the Coromandel Penisula and only 1.25 hours from Rotorua, locally Beautiful Waihi Beach (safe surf beach) is 6 mins drive, and the Mural town of Katikati is 6 mins drive, we are 2 hours south of Auckland International Airport.
